We are always on the look-out for good freelance designers to work on educational book production. You should have a graphic design degree with at least three year’s experience working within the field of editorial design (books or magazines) or some experience of working on long structured documents in a production environment. Experience of Adobe InDesign (mainly), Photoshop and Illustrator is essential.
We do require our freelancers to come and work here in the studio (we do not put work out) so you should be relatively local to Bedford. The maximum hourly rate is £15 depending on experience, plus travelling expenses.
